Ireland are the only remaining unbeaten team in this year’s championship. See our 6 Nations betting tips for all three weekend games below, kicking off in Cardiff.
Wales v Ireland
Both Wales and Ireland impressed with their wins in the third round of matches and there is little to choose between the two at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, with hosts Wales priced at 6/5 (Skybet, Paddy Power, William Hill) and Ireland a 5/6 chance (Bet365, Ladbrokes, Coral).
Ireland have the extra pressure of being two wins away from the Grand Slam, and Wales’ greater experience in the centres could count against the visitors. A wide range of handicap bets are available and Betfred’s 11/8 about Wales with a minus 2 start appeals.
England v Scotland
Scotland’s defeats to France and Wales were not too discouraging but the loss to Italy a fortnight ago was a real setback for Vern Cotter’s men, who have lost Sean Lamont and Alex Dunbar to knee injuries. England know they still have a real chance of winning the championship and they have an excellent record at home to the Scots, winning the last 12 meetings at Twickenham and going unbeaten since 1983.
England ran in a big score against Italy and can do the same here. Ladbrokes are offering Evens that they’ll get beyond a 15 point handicap.
Italy v France
Back-to-back defeats have ended France’s hopes of the title and they don’t look particularly well equipped for a big win in Italy, where they have lost on their last two visits. The Italians were no match for Ireland and England, but they came out on top at Murrayfield and that will give them a significant boost for this clash.
Most firms are offering a seven-point handicap, but Coral go Evens that Italy will win with an eight-point start.
