DJ Cut To 6/1 For Masters

DJThe first golf major of the year is nearly upon us and world number one Dustin Johnson is the new outright favourite to win The Masters at Augusta after winning the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play event – his third-straight tournament win.

This is the first time that a player has won three tournaments in a row since Rory McIlroy won The Open Championship, then the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship in 2014.

Johnson, who ended his long wait for a first major title at last summer’s US Open and has finished in the top 10 at six of his last seven majors, will be strongly fancied to follow suit but his price has now shortened to a best of 6/1 with Coral – just 11/2 or 5/1 elsewhere.

Jon Rahm, the brilliant Spaniard who finished runner-up to DJ in the Match Play final, was 125/1 with Bet365 back in January – but has been backed all the way in to 22/1.
