We tipped Italy at 18/1 at the start of the tournament, but they face the stiffest of tasks to reach the Euro 2016 Semi-Final’s in the shape of the World Champions.

The Italians are now 13/2 with Bet365 to win the Euro’s, while Germany are 3/1.

And the Germans are available at best odds of 13/10 with Coral to win this game in Bordeaux, with Italy a best price of 3/1 and the draw at 2/1, both with Bet365.

But Germany have not beaten Italy at a major tournament in 8 attempts (L4, D4), most recently losing 2-1 at Euro 2012, and we fancy the Italians to sneak this one.

Back them to win at that price of 3/1 with Bet365, and also at 3/4 with BetVictor with a half-goal start on the Asian Handicap, whereby you win if Italy win or draw.

Antonio Conte’s side have only conceded one goal in this tournament (when they played a second XI against Rep of Ireland), while Germany have yet to concede.

So, a low scoring game looks assured and we recommend backing both ‘Under 2.5 Goals’ at 1/2 with Betfair, plus Italy 1-0 at 8/1 with Bet365 (who will refund if 0-0).

With a tight game envisaged we are also happy to take 11/10 with Paddy Power that the first goal of the game will be scored after the 35th minute.

Finally, Graziano Pelle is worth backing at 3/1 to score at any time in the game with Betfred – who are offering Anytime Goalscorer bets to count in extra-time.
