David Haye is a best price of 4/11 with Bet365 to gain revenge on Tony Bellew when the pair meet for their heavyweight rematch at the O2 Arena in December.
Bellew scored a surprise victory back in March when he stopped Haye in the 11th round – although the Londoner, who was a 1/5 chance going into the fight, was suffering from an Achilles injury sustained in round six. Haye required surgery after what was the third defeat of his career but the injury made a rematch of what was a close contest inevitable.
Haye had made a strong start in the initial fight, although Bellew was starting to find his range when injury struck and at that point the result was far from a foregone conclusion, something that is reflected in the shift in the odds towards the Liverpudlian. Several firms make Bellew a 5/2 chance to win in the week before Christmas, but he’s now a best price of 9/4 with Betfred.
