Both of these sides are capable of winning the title and whichever goes out in Paris will take with them a huge chunk of the outright betting market percentage.

Spain are the 23/20 favourites with Bet365 to win here at the Stade de France, with Italy available at best price 7/2 and the draw at 2/1 – both with Ladbrokes.

Spain beat the Czech Republic and Turkey without conceding, but lost 2-1 to Croatia to finish second in their group and hand them this difficult Last 16 tie.

Meanwhile, Italy have been typically tough to break down, conceding just one goal in their three games, including an impressive opening 2-0 win over Belgium.

In total, Italy have managed just nine shots on target in their three games, and it is no surprise that Under 2.5 Goals is a prohibitively low price of 4/11 at Bet365.

We prefer to bet on the time of the first goal being after the 37th minute at 11/10 with Paddy Power, who also offer the best odds of 6/5 on a 0-0 half-time score.

It also looks worth backing both teams to win 1-0 with Bet365, who refund losing Correct Score bets on all games that finish 0-0, Spain 1-0 is 4/1 and Italy 1-0 is 7/1.

Spain’s in-form striker, Alvaro Morata, appeals at 5/1 to score first with Bet365, while Graziano Pelle looks sure to be Italy’s lone forward. His strength and height could give the Spanish problems and he is 8/1 with Paddy Power to score first.

Finally, as we feel the game is a coin flip, we also suggest taking the 20/1 with Sky Bet on Italy to win the Championships – if they beat Spain they will be nearer 6/1.
