Johanna Konta Odds

johanna-kontaWith her run to the final of the China Open, Johanna Konta is up five places to no.9 in the World rankings – the first British woman in the world’s top 10 since Jo Durie way back in 1984.

Konta lost to Agnieszka Radwanska in the final in Beijing, but the 25-year-old can reflect on another strong performance in a remarkable 15-month period which has seen her rise from 150th in the rankings and into the elite.

Her biggest achievement was to reach the semi-finals of the Australian Open last year – and she can now look forward to returning to Melbourne in January as one of the top seeds and as a 50/1 chance with BetVictor (just 33/1 elsewhere).
