Latest 6 Nations Odds

RBS-Six-Nations-TrophyEngland overcame the first obstacle in their bid for a second successive Grand Slam, fighting back to beat stubborn France 19-16 at Twickenham in their 6 Nations opener on Saturday.

With Ireland, second in the pre-tournament betting, suffering a surprise defeat at the hands of Scotland, England are now no bigger than 8/13 with Betfair to win this year’s championship.

Ireland, who host England in the final round of matches, remain second in the betting – but out to 6/1 with Paddy Power – while Wales are now 7/1 with Stan James after their 33-7 win in Rome.

The Scots, who won their opening game for only the second time since Italy joined to expand the competition from five nations to six, are best price 12/1 with Betfair – they look stronger under outgoing coach Vern Cotter than they have for a decade.

England’s winning run now stretches to a record 15 matches, but they face another stiff test this weekend when they go to Cardiff to face Wales, and while they won at the Principality Stadium 2 years ago, they have lost on five of their last seven visits.

Last year’s Grand Slam winners are 9/5 with Betfair for a repeat, but they last won back-to-back Slam’s in 1991 & 1992 and ‘No Grand Slam’ winner is 8/11 at Bet365.
