William Hill have Chelsea as joint favourites with Man City to win the Premier League after they put themselves in pole position with Sunday’s 1-0 win at Middlesbrough – a victory which moved them a point ahead of City and Liverpool.
A run of six straight wins without conceding has given the Blues the edge, but they face a test of their title credentials over the next fortnight, with games against unbeaten Spurs at Stamford Bridge, and then City at the Etihad on Dec 3rd.
Chelsea had slipped down to eighth in the table and out to 20/1 for the title after back-to-back defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal in September, but they are now just 9/4 with Hills.
Liverpool are out to 10/3 with Bet365 after their frustrating draw at Southampton, with Arsenal at 8/1 and Spurs a best of 18s with Ladbrokes. To complete the picture, Man United are at 33/1 with Ladbrokes after they were held by Arsenal on Saturday.
