City attempt to become only the second English team in the last four seasons (after Chelsea in 2014) to progress to the Champions League semi-finals.

And having drawn the first leg 2-2 in Paris, a 0-0 or 1-1 draw would be enough for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who are therefore odds-on favourites to qualify.

Paddy Power offer the best price of 4/5 and it is worth noting that teams who have drawn 2-2 away from home in European competition have progressed on 220 out of 277 previous occasions (almost 80%).

Paradoxically, although PSG are 13/10 (Coral) outsiders to qualify, they are very slight favourites to win the match – at a best price of 29/20 with Paddy Power, with City available at 2/1 with Bet365 and the draw at 27/10 with Betfair.

Influential captain Vincent Kompany remains injured, but David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne should both feature, and so it may well be that City’s best chance of making it through is to attack rather than defend what they already have.

Given that, we think backing both teams to score at 8/15 with Bet365 looks a banker – as does Over 2.5 Goals at 8/13 with Bet365.

Also, place a pre-match bet of on this game with Bet365 and you’ll get a risk free In-Play bet to the same value – up to £50 free here.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has 30 Ligue 1 goals this season, scored against City in the first leg and also scored in both Round of 16 legs against Chelsea.

He simply has to be backed to score first at 9/2 with Paddy Power, but we also want to be with Lucas Moura, who scored a brace for PSG on Saturday, at 9/1.

Kevin de Bruyne scored the opening goal last week in Paris, and the Belgian is a stand-out 10/3 with Betfair to score a goal at any time on Tuesday.

Finally, we recommend backing a couple of big Correct Scores – we like the 3-1 and 3-2 PSG wins at best odds of 17/1 and 22/1 respectively.
