Bet365 have unveiled a new ‘Edit Bet’ tool that allows you to add, remove or swap selections from unsettled accumulators and single bets.
The new innovation, available on the Bet365 mobile site and app, utilises their Cash Out functionality – when editing a bet your existing bet is cashed out and a new bet is placed with your new selections, using the Cash Out amount as the stake.
You can make multiple changes in the same Edit Bet request and there is no limit on the amount of times that you can edit a bet.
How to edit a bet
You can edit a bet on your mobile or tablet by first selecting ‘Edit Bet’ in the top right of the bet slip (in My Bets) and the slip will update to allow you to make the changes:
Adding a selection
To add a selection to your bet, click ‘Add Selections’ on the bet slip, which takes you to the homepage and launches a pop-up inviting you to add selections.
Making selections will then add them to a temporary bet slip, which will display at the bottom of the screen, with a ‘New Return’ to reflect your additional selection(s).
Simply click ‘Add to Bet’ at the bottom of the temporary bet slip to add your new selection(s) to the bet slip, then click ‘Save Changes’ and ‘Confirm’ to edit your bet:
Swapping a selection
To swap a selection in your bet, just click on the selection in the bet slip which loads a swap pop-up, allowing you to choose an alternative option from the same market.
Once you have selected your replacement, the ‘New Return’ amount will update to reflect the amended odds of the bet – then click on ‘Done’ for the bet slip to update.
Once again, click on ‘Save Changes’ and ‘Confirm’ in order to submit your bet swap:
Removing a selection
To remove a selection from a bet, simply click the ‘X’ icon to the left of the selection – which will display as struck through on the bet slip (clicking on ‘Undo’ reverses this).
Again, your ‘New Return’ amount will display to account for your changes – and then click on ‘Save Changes’ and ‘Confirm’ in order to remove the selection from your bet:
