Next England Manager Odds

gareth-southgate-englandGareth Southgate will take charge of England for the first time when they face Malta at Wembley this weekend and remains the firm favourite to succeed Sam Allardyce on a permament basis, but there have been signs over the last few days that the FA may be willing to appoint another foreign manager.

Southgate is no better than 2/1 with Paddy Power to get the job full-time, but RB Leipzig’s technical director Ralf Rangnick has shortened to a best of 5/1 at Coral and Arsene Wenger’s admission that he may one day consider the England role has seen the Frenchman cut to the same price with Bet365.

Steve Bruce, who may now be in line for a return to management with Aston Villa – for which he is the 6/5 favourite with BetVictor – has drifted into double figures to replace Allardyce, with both Alan Pardew and Eddie Howe’s odds also lengthening.
