UFC Champ McGregor Backed In To 9/2

We’re now just four weeks away from the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor in Las Vegas and the sheer volume of bets on the outsider McGregor has forced his price down further – from 11/2 to a best of 9/2 with Paddy Power.

Bet365 made the UFC lightweight champion a 9/1 chance to beat the 11-time, five-weight world champion Mayweather when they opened their book back in March, but were quickly swamped with bets on the upset and the trend has continued.

Despite this, bookmakers have been keen to limit the price for the most likely outcome – a win for Mayweather by KO, TKO or disqualification, which has shortened from 4/5 to 4/6 at Betfred, Coral and Betfair.
