Manchester City are now the 12/5 favourites with Bet365 to win the FA Cup after cruising into the fifth round with a 2-0 win at Cardiff on Sunday. Manchester United are at 7/2 across the board after they eased past Yeovil on Friday night, while Chelsea are at 4/1 with Ladbrokes after a straightforward 3-0 home victory over Newcastle.
Tottenham, who were surprisingly held to a draw at League Two Newport, are the 5/1 fourth favourites with Bet365 and Ladbrokes, with the top four in the betting all shortening after Liverpool’s shock home defeat to West Brom on Saturday evening. Baggies manager Alan Pardew made it to the final with Crystal Palace a couple of years ago and his new side are at 50/1 with Bet365 after winning 3-2 at Anfield.
Most Premier League teams named strong line-ups for their fourth round ties, although Leicester impressed in their 5-1 win at Peterborough despite making several changes. The Foxes are unbeaten in January and have improved considerably since Claude Puel replaced Craig Shakespeare as manager. Ahead of Monday evening’s fifth round draw they are 16/1 fifth favourites with Ladbrokes.
