Ahead of the fourth Ashes Test you can still get odds of 11/10 with Ladbrokes for Australia to win the final two matches and complete a 5-0 series whitewash. At the end of England’s home Test series in September Paddy Power were offering odds of 18/1 that Australia would win all five matches, but the same firm are now quoting just 10/11 after the hosts have dominated the first three match to win the series.
In contrast to Australia, England have struggled to put out a fully fit bowling unit thus far and injury to Craig Overton means they will be forced to make changes again for the fourth Test in Melbourne. Hampshire’s 20-year-old spinner Mason Crane looks set to make his debut. Australia must make a change too, with Jackson Bird likely to replace Mitchell Starc, who has a heel problem.
