Valtteri Bottas has been cut to 9/2* to win the F1 Drivers Championship after moving to the top of the standings with his victory in Sunday’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The Finn leads team-mate Lewis Hamilton by a single point after Mercedes became the first team to claim a one-two at each of the first four races of the season.
World champion Hamilton has opened up a 35-point lead over Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, who finished third in Baku.
Vettel’s team-mate Charles Leclerc had to settle for fifth place after he was unable to pass the Red Bull of Max Verstappen in the closing stages.
Leclerc’s consolation was a bonus point for setting the fastest lap time. Hamilton remains the firm favourite to win the title, at best odds of 8/15* with Paddy Power.
