Manchester City are a best price of 1/4* with Betfred to retain their Premier League title, but Liverpool appear determined to push them all the way.
City maintained their two-point lead at the top of the table thanks to their 4-0 demolition of West Ham at the London Stadium, where Leroy Sane scored twice and Raheem Sterling had a hand in three goals.
Liverpool also kept up their momentum ahead of next weekend’s Merseyside Derby at Anfield with a 3-0 win at Watford, where Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were both on target, in addition to a sensational free-kick from Trent Alexander Arnold – to follow up his first England goal the previous week.
Like City, Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season, but the other unbeaten record came to an end as Chelsea were thrashed at Tottenham.
Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son were all on target as Spurs won 3-1 at Wembley to leapfrog the Blues into third place.
The bookmakers are beginning to see it as a two-horse race, with Liverpool 4/1* across the board. Chelsea have been pushed out to a best price of 33/1* by Bet365, BetVictor and Betfred, with Paddy Power offering Tottenham at odds of 35/1.*
