City Cut After Old Trafford Stalemate

Manchester City are the 8/15 favourites to win the Premier League for a second successive season after Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Manchester United on Sunday.

Liverpool moved back to the top of the table with their point from their trip to Old Trafford, but City are now just a point behind with each having now played 27 games.

Liverpool had been as short as 4/9 after opening up a seven-point lead in January, but three draws in four matches have enabled the champions to close the gap.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are now out to a best price of 15/8* with United-supporting Betfred, although most unbiased bookmakers are quoting 13/8. Both clubs are next in action in the Premier League on Wednesday night, with Liverpool taking on Watford at Anfield and City facing West Ham at the Etihad Stadium. Liverpool then go to Goodison Park on Sunday.
