Manchester City will join the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid as top seeds for this season’s Champions League when the draw takes place in Monaco on Thursday afternoon.
Paris St Germain, Juventus and Lokomotiv Moscow are the other clubs in the top seeding pot.
Manchester United and Tottenham will be in pot two for the draw and could be joined by Liverpool.
However, last year’s beaten finalists will go into pot three should Benfica qualify from their play-off against PAOK.
The Portuguese giants were held to a 1-1 draw at home in last week’s first leg.
City remain the 11/2* favourites with Bet365 – despite having only previously reached one semi-final.
Meanwhile, Juventus are the 6/1* second favourites, ahead of Barcelona, PSG, Bayern and champions Real Madrid.
Liverpool, who could face the prospect of a tough draw if they go into pot three, are a best price of 11/1* with Bet365.
Manchester United are 14/1 in places but out at 20/1* with BetVictor and Tottenham are at 25/1* across the board.
