Sevilla are firm favourites to win the Europa League Final 2015 at best odds of 8/13 (Ladbrokes), while Dnipro are available at 11/2 and the draw at 3/1 (both Bet365).

This is Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk’s first European final and they are only the second Ukrainian club to achieve that distinction, after Shakhtar Donetsk (who won the last UEFA Cup in 2009, before it was renamed the UEFA Europa League).

For holders Sevilla, who finished fifth in La Liga for a second consecutive season, it is their fourth UEFA Cup/Europa League Final and they have won all of their previous three (2006, 2007 and 2014). Middlesbrough fans will remember their 4-0 defeat in the 2006 Final, while last year Los Rojiblancos beat Benfica on penalties.

Dnipro finished third in the Ukrainian Premier League this season and, for the first time, both teams have the added incentive of a place in next season’s Champions League group stages, despite neither qualifying domestically.

The Ukrainians have reached this final at the National Stadium in Warsaw despite being unable to play at home in any game, due to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Nonetheless, they have seen off the likes of Olympiakos, Ajax and Club Brugge, before upsetting the odds to beat Rafa Benitez’s Napoli in the semi-finals.

They have only scored 13 goals in 14 games since the group stage began back in September and so we firstly suggest backing ‘Under 2.5 Goals’ at 3/4 with BetVictor.

But we can see Sevilla breaking through via Colombian World Cup star Carlos Bacca, who has scored 20 goals in La Liga this season, plus another 5 in this competition. You can back him each-way to score the first goal at odds of 4/1 with Paddy Power.

Finally, we recommend backing Sevilla to win both 1-0 and 2-0 at odds of 5/1 and 6/1 respectively with Betfred – who refund losing Correct Score bets, up to £50, on all televised matches that finish 1-1.
