The Premier League top four finish market looks even more competitive after Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday saw them move into fourth place.
Goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inflicted a first league defeat on United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and took the Gunners to within a point of neighbours Tottenham, whose slump in form continued when Southampton came from behind to beat them 2-1 at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon.
United are now down to fifth, with Chelsea still in sixth place after they salvaged a point against Wolves on Sunday.
Tottenham are still the favourites to claim a Champions League berth for next season at general best odds of 8/13*, with Arsenal cut to a best price of 10/11* with Coral. Chelsea are at Evens* with Bet365, with United out to 7/5* at Paddy Power.
Of those four, only Chelsea are in Premier League action this weekend when they travel to Everton on Sunday.
