Arsenal are into the Premier League’s top four after their controversial 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor courtesy of a stoppage time penalty from Alexis Sanchez. The Gunners, who beat fierce rivals Tottenham the previous weekend, profited from another slip-up from their neighbours, who were held 1-1 at Wembley by West Brom on Saturday.
The Gunners have also jumped above Liverpool, after they drew 1-1 at home to Chelsea. With both Manchester clubs at short prices to finish in the top four this season and the defending champions at a best of 2/5 at William Hill, there’s an intriguing market developing in the race for Champions League qualification.
Tottenham are a 10/11 chance with Bet365, Liverpool can be backed at Evens with Betfred and Arsenal are now in to 5/4 with the same firm. It’s the shortest price Arsene Wenger’s side have been since a 4-0 defeat at Anfield at the end of August.
