Lewis Hamilton is 2/5 with Bet365 to win the Formula One World Drivers Championship after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix to take a 24-point lead into the summer break.
After the thrills and spills of the German Grand Prix, it was a more strategic race at the Hungaroring, where Ferrari’s decision to delay a pit-stop for Sebastian Vettel appeared to cost them the chance to challenge Hamilton for victory.
Vettel emerged from the pits behind the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas and although he passed the Finn with five laps remaining he was unable to put pressure on the championship leader. Nine races remain in the season, beginning with the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps on August 26th.
Hamilton has won three times in Belgium including in two of the last three years, while Vettel’s only success came in 2013.
