Haye v Bellew Betting Preview

David-HayeThere’s a huge fight on Sky Sports Box Office at 11pm on Saturday, with David Haye and Tony Bellew going head-to-head in a heavyweight contest at the O2.

Bellew – who has stepped up from cruiserweight for this fight – is the firm outsider at best odds of 6/1 at Sky Bet, while Haye is no bigger than 2/9 at Betfair.

As always seems to be the case with big fights these days, especially those involving Haye, there has been plenty of animosity between the two – who scuffled at a press conference, and almost came to blows again while filming The Gloves Are Off with Johnny Nelson.

Afterwards, Bellew labelled Haye ‘a disgrace to boxing’ – promising to end his career in embarrassment. Such an outcome seems unlikely – Paddy Power offer just 3/10 for Haye to win by KO, TKO or disqualification and Bellew at 7/1 in the same market.

Haye is available at a stand-out price of 10/1 with Betfair to win in the first round, or at 4/6 with Paddy Power to win in rounds 1-6, while Bellew is 16/1 with Bet365 to go the distance and win the contest on points.

New Sky Bet customers who register HERE and stake £5 on any boxing market can watch the Haye v Bellew fight for free – instead of paying £16.95 on Sky Box Office.
