Brooks Koepka capped a memorable 2018 with victory at the CJ Cup in South Korea to move to the top of the world rankings for the first time.
The American, who won both the US Open and the PGA Championship this season to add to his US Open title from last year, won by four shots on Jeju Island to land best pre-tournament odds of 10/1.
It brought a third win of the year for an ultra-consistent performer who has missed only one cut in the last 18 months and took him above Dustin Johnson at the top of the rankings.
His next target will be to add to his haul of major titles, starting at The Masters next April. He has yet to record a top 10 finish in three visits to Augusta but his record has improved year-on-year.
After finishing in a tie for 33rd place on his debut in 2015, he shared 21st place a year later and then 11th last time around.
Jordan Spieth, who won the Green Jacket in 2015, is the market leader at 9/1 across the board, with Koepka currently a best price of 16/1* with Betfred.
