Chelsea and Manchester City are now joint favourites for the FA Cup after winning their third round ties, with both clubs priced at 5/1 at the top of the market with Sky Bet.
Chelsea – who made numerous changes to their starting line-up for their 4-1 home win over Peterborough – were 11/2 favourites going into the weekend, but the nature of City’s 5-0 thrashing of West Ham, for which Pep Guardiola picked his strongest team, has forced bookies to cut them from 7/1 to the same odds as the Premier League leaders.
Liverpool are out to 7/1 after being held by Plymouth at Anfield and although they should get through the replay, Jurgen Klopp may well have spooked some backers with his very youthful line-up.
Meanwhile, the 2014 and 2015 winners Arsenal remain at 6/1 after fighting back to beat a spirited Preston side, holders Manchester are in to 6/1 from 8/1 after beating Reading, while Spurs can be backed at 9/1 after easing to victory against Aston Villa.
After the Premier League’s top six come champions Leicester, who with a favourable draw could look a decent prospect at 25/1 – in from 33s – after their win at Everton.
