Leeds United are the new favourites to win the Championship after winning their first three league games of the season.
The Whites, who could be backed at 12/1 in the ante-post title betting, eased past Rotherham on Saturday to follow on from convincing victories over Stoke and Derby in their first two matches and are now a best price of 9/2* with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power.
Middlesbrough, who have played a game more, top the table with 10 points but Leeds have captured the imagination of their supporters and punters alike with the manner of their start under new manager Marcelo Bielsa. The Argentinian has named the same starting line-up for each of the first three games and, with the exception of Scotland left-back Barry Douglas who joined for £5m from Wolves in the summer, all of those players were part of the side that finished 13th last season, 39 points adrift of champions Wolves.
Leeds visit Swansea and Norwich in their next two games, before ending the month with a vital showdown with leaders Middlesbrough at Elland Road.
