Romelu Lukaku has shortened in the betting to be Premier League Top Goalscorer next season after his transfer from Everton to Man United was agreed over the weekend, with Bet365 and BetVictor both cutting his odds from 6/1 to 9/2.
The Belgium international scored 25 league goals last season to finish second in the scoring charts – 4 behind Tottenham’s Harry Kane, having netted 18 times in the 2015/16 campaign for the Goodison club.
As Lukaku’s price comes in, Harry Kane’s odds have been eased from 11/4 to a best of 3/1 at BetVictor, but the Spurs and England striker remains the man to beat after scoring 54 times over the last two seasons to win the Golden Boot on each occasion.
Arsenal’s new signing Alexandre Lacazette has been added to the market at 12/1 by Bet365 and compared to the top two in the market he looks a good bet at that price.
The 26-year-old has scored 76 goals in 97 league games for Lyon over the last three seasons – and the £52m signing will get plenty of chances in a creative Arsenal side.
