Manchester City have been cut to a best price of just 1/5* to win the Premier League title after their tense 1-0 win at Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the game – his 20th of the season in the league – to return Pep Guardiola’s side to the top of the table.
They sit a point clear of Liverpool, who beat Huddersfield 5-0 at Anfield on Friday, with two games remaining as they bid to become the first team to retain the title in 10 years.
Liverpool, who face Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final in midweek, are next in action as they face Newcastle at St James’ Park on Saturday night. City, on the other hand, have the advantage of a break ahead of their next game against Leicester a week on Monday.
On the final day, Liverpool host Wolves while the champions visit Brighton. Jurgen Klopp’s side have matched City stride for stride and have lost only one game, yet they are now out to 7/2 with most bookmakers to win their first title in 29 years.
