Having been a best price of just 1/10 in the ante-post betting, Celtic are now out to 3/10* to win the Scottish Premiership with Bet365 following their latest setback.
Brendan Rodgers’ side slipped to 6th in the Premiership table after suffering their second defeat in six games when they were beaten 2-1 at Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The Hoops have won the title in each of the last seven seasons and are seeking to win the league for the 50th time, but they have given rivals Rangers – as well as early leaders Hearts – a glimmer of hope with their lethargic start to the campaign.
Rangers moved above their Glasgow neighbours with a 5-1 thrashing of St Johnstone on Sunday afternoon and have been cut to a best price of 10/3* with Ladbrokes and Coral to win the Premiership for the first time since 2011.
Hearts, who dropped points for the first time when they were held to a goalless draw by Livingston, remain five points clear at the top of the table.
Craig Levein’s side can be backed at 20/1 with Bet365, Ladbrokes, BetVictor, Betfred and Coral. Rangers and Hearts meet at Ibrox in a fortnight’s time, with the next major date on the calendar being Hearts’ visit to Celtic on November 3rd.
