Brendan Rodgers is the early favourite to be the new manager of Leicester City following the sacking of Claude Puel on Sunday morning.
Puel has been under pressure for some time and had little chance of surviving Saturday’s humiliating 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
David Wagner, who recently left Huddersfield when it became clear he would not be able to keep them in the Premier League, is another prominent contender for the vacant position at the King Power Stadium.
Michael Appleton, previously a coach at Leicester, and the Burnley boss Sean Dyche are other prominent names in the market.
At the time of writing on Sunday evening, Rodgers could be backed at 11/10* with BetVictor, although as ever with manager markets the betting moves quickly in response to comparatively small amounts of money and the news agenda.
Puel leaves Leicester in 12th place in the Premier League having taken just one point from their last six matches.
