Liverpool and Real Madrid are just 1/4 with BetVictor to meet in the Uefa Champions League final next month after each claimed impressive first leg victories last week.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have one foot in the final in Kiev after romping into a five-goal lead against Roma, although they will be wary of Wednesday’s second leg in the Stadio Olimpico after affording their opponents the luxury of two scarcely deserved late goals. Klopp will be all too aware that Roma overturned a 3-goal deficit to dump Barca out at the quarter-final stage, although he will have the benefit of having seen his own side wrap up what was ultimately a comfortable two-leg win over Man City after building up a three-goal lead at home.
To emphasise the size of Roma’s task, they are a best price of 28/1 with Ladbrokes to repeat the 3-0 win over Barca that saw them win through on away goals. The Italians have a team full of experience but they are not blessed with great defensive pace and that should play into Liverpool’s hands. An away goal should be enough and it’s telling that their talisman Mohamed Salah is odds-on to score in Rome.
