Saturday Premier League Tips

We preview the three televised games, featuring Everton v Chelsea at Goodison Park Burnley v Spurs at Turf Moor and Leicester v Man United at the King Power Stadium.

Chelsea are 4/6 favourites with Betfred to win at Goodison Park, with their hosts available at best odds of 5/1 and the draw at 31/10 – both with Bet365.

But Everton have recorded four wins and a draw since Sam Allardyce arrived and it’s worth noting that they’ve won 5 of their last 8 home games against Chelsea (L3).

They have kept three clean sheets in those five matches under Allardyce and we suggest a speculative bet on them to win this match ‘to nil’ at 9/1, while we also recommend backing them with a goal start on the Asian Handicap market at 3/4.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has scored in Everton’s last two games at Goodison and he can celebrate his 200th Premier League appearance with another at 23/5 with Unibet.

Cesc Fabregas has three scored goals in his last five games here, so we’ll also suggest backing him to score at the same price with Unibet – and thus become the third Spanish player to score 50 Premier League goals.

Burnley v Tottenham

Sixth placed Burnley host seventh placed Tottenham, with the Clarets having won 4 of their last 5 games at home and Spurs having lost 4 of their last 5 away games.

So, odds of 6/1 on Burney with BetVictor look generous, while we also suggest backing them with a goal start on the Asian Handicap at 39/40 with BetVictor.

With that second bet you will collect if Burnley win or draw and get your money back if they lose by just one goal – this bet would only have lost once in Burnley’s 18 league games so far this season.

Remarkably, 9 of those 18 games finished 1-0 (W6, L3) including 6 of their last 8 matches and with two 0-0’s to add to that tally we suggest backing both 1-0’s here with Bet365 – who refund losing Correct Score bets on all games that end 0-0.

United are 10/11 favourites with Betfred to win this Saturday evening game – with the Foxes available at 18/5 with Stan James and the draw at 11/4 with Bet365.

Leicester may have lost here to Crystal Palace last Saturday, but previously they had won four consecutive games under Claude Puel and that 18/5 appeals.

But we’ll play it a little safer and suggest backing the hosts with a half goal start at 21/20 with Bet365 – whereby you win if they win or draw this game.

United have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last five league away games and we fancy ‘Both Teams To Score’ here at best odds of 17/20 with Betfair – who also offer the best price of Evens on Over 2.5 Goals.
