The Shenzhen International 2017 takes place this week at the Genzon Golf Club, the third time at this venue since the tournament’s inaugural edition in 2015. The 7,145 yard course also staged the Volvo China Open a year earlier. South Korean Soomin Lee won this event on -16 last year – succeeding Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat as champion, with France’s Alexander Levy successful in the China Open back in 2014.

Tommy Fleetwood may have missed the cut at Augusta but the young Englishman is establishing himself in the world’s top 50 and heads the betting for this tournament, at a best price of 14/1 with Coral – who are also offering 7 places for each-way bets.

Ross Fisher, who is very much on the up after his third place at the WGC Mexico, is next at 16/1 with Coral, while Bubba Watson is an 18/1 chance with Betfred. After finishing seventh or better on eight of his last 15 starts, Bernd Wiesberger is at 20/1 with Coral, while Joost Luiten is available at 22/1 with Sky Bet after finishing second here last year. Defending champion Soomin Lee is a 100/1 chance with Betfred.

Thorbjorn OlesenTHORBJORN OLESEN must be one of the European Tour’s most frustrating players, but with 4 wins to his name he certainly has plenty of talent even if it isn’t always fulfilled. Between a second place at the BMW International Open and winning the Turkish Airlines Open last season he missed seven of 10 cuts, but those results were enough to keep him bumping around in the world’s top 100 and he was 8th here on his first appearance last season.

Brandon StoneBRANDON STONE missed the cut in Morocco last week and he was also poor in Mexico on his previous appearance – but back-to-back top 10s in Joburg and Dubai earlier in the year are enough evidence to suggest he is not suffering a hangover from victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on his final outing of 2016. The South African shared second place here last year and with 33/1 widely available, Betfred‘s price of 50/1 stands out as a great each-way punt here.

Victor-DubuissonIt’s hard to know what to expect from VICTOR DUBUISSON, who has been troubled by injuries in recent months – but he was on song in Morocco last week where he finished in a share of fourth. Prior to that he had withdrawn after 18 holes in Malaysia and also missed the cut in Dubai, but his last five starts show three fop five finishes. He’s certainly among the top talents in a weak field and looks worthy of support at 28/1 with Bet365Sky Bet or Betfred.
