Greek youngster Stefanos Tsitsipas is a 66/1 chance with Bet365 to win the US Open after a stunning run to the final of the Rogers Cup in Toronto. The 20-year-old, who shocked Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals, added the scalp of beaten Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson in the last four to set up a final against Rafael Nadal on Sunday.
In doing so Tsitsipas became the first unseeded player to reach the final in Canada since Germany’s Nicolas Kiefer a decade ago, having earlier come through tough matches against both Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev. Djokovic, who won at Flushing Meadow in both 2012 and 2015, remains the favourite to win in New York at best odds of 3/1* with Betfred.
Roger Federer and Nadal are both available at odds of 4/1* with most firms, with Zverev the 9/1* fourth favourite with Betfred. With his recovery from hip surgery taking longer than originally hoped, Andy Murray is out to 16/1 with Paddy Power.
