Bet365 make Tyson Fury an even money chance* to beat Deontay Wilder when they meet in the winter after the Mancunian continued his return to the ring with a unanimous points victory over Francesco Pianeta in Belfast on Saturday night.
The 30-year-old, who returned from a ban in June, won all 10 rounds on the judges’ scorecards against his Italian opponent and immediately afterwards confirmed he would take on the WBC champion in either November or December.
The venue for the eagerly-awaited fight between Fury and Wilder, who has 39 knockouts from 40 fights, has yet to be confirmed, although Las Vegas is the obvious choice for a bout with such huge box office potential after Wilder’s management failed to find an agreement with Anthony Joshua’s camp for a unification superfight. Paddy Power are offering 7/4* that Wilder wins by KO or TKO, while Bet365 go 2/1* that Fury wins on points.
